DESCRIPTION:The United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT) kindly 
 invites you to the Fourth United Nations High-Level Conference of Heads of
  Counter-Terrorism Agencies of Member States (HLC) form 29 June to 2 July 
 2026 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York\, under the auspices o
 f Secretary-General Guterres. The Conference will focus on the overarching
  theme of "A Future Free from Terrorism: Consolidating the Global Commitme
 nt to Multi-Stakeholder Approaches to Counter Terrorism through Member Sta
 tes' Leadership and Action." \nThe HLC will feature four interactive them
 atic working sessions and will bring together Government Leaders\, Heads o
 f Counter Terrorism Agencies of Member States as well as a strong cadre of
  CT/PCVE practitioners and experts from the UN system\, international and 
 regional organizations\, civil society including youth\, women\, human rig
 hts actors\, victims of terrorism\, academia and the private sector\, to d
 iscuss key counter-terrorism priorities\, trends\, emerging risks and chal
 lenges\, and preventive strategies and solutions under the four pillars of
  the GCTS strategy. \nThe HLC is part of UNOCT’s Fourth Counter-Terrori
 sm Week (CT Week)\, scheduled from 26 June to 2 July 2026\, which also inc
 ludes the Plenary Meeting of the General Assembly on the adoption of the N
 inth Review Resolution of the Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy (1 and 2 J
 uly 2026)\, and approximately 20 side events to be held during the entire
