The UNFCCC Regional Collaboration Center for Asia and the Pacific (RCC Asia-Pacific), under the auspices of the Youth Empowerment in Climate Action Platform (YECAP) and in collaboration with Youth4Capacity, UNDP Asia-Pacific, and UNICEF East Asia and Pacific, conducted the first Climate Policy Innovators Youth Camp in February 2025. Following its success and in considering the feedback received from participants, RCC Asia-Pacific has been working on enhancing the capacity-building modules this year, to be launched in 2026.
With the objective of enhancing the capacities of youth to meaningfully engage in climate governance and policy discussions and positively impact climate change policymaking and implementation processes at all levels from global to local, the 2nd Climate Policy Innovators Youth Camp is scheduled for March 2026.
