DESCRIPTION:In preparation for the Fifth Ministerial Conference on Transpo
 rt\, scheduled to be held from 17 to 20 November 2026\, pursuant to ESCAP 
 resolution 78/3 on the Implementation of the Ministerial Declaration on Su
 stainable Transport Development in Asia and the Pacific\, and in accordanc
 e with the preparatory timeline agreed upon at the First Regional Preparat
 ory Meeting for the Fifth Ministerial Conference on Transport\, held on 1 
 and 2 April 2026\, and following the Second Regional Preparatory Meeting\,
  held on 11 and 12 June 2026\, the Third Regional Preparatory Meeting is s
 cheduled to take place in Bangkok and online on 5 and 6 August 2026.\nThe 
 third meeting will continue the review and revision of the draft texts of 
 the ministerial declaration and regional action programme for sustainable 
 transport development in Asia and the Pacific (2027-2031) that will be con
