First Regional Preparatory Meeting for the fifth Ministerial Conference on Transport

In preparation for the 5th Ministerial Conference on Transport, scheduled to be held on 17-20 November 2026 in accordance with ESCAP resolution 78/3 on the Implementation of the Ministerial Declaration on Sustainable Transport Development in Asia and the Pacific, the secretariat is organizing a regional meeting that will be held in Bangkok and online on 1 and 2 April 2026. The Regional Meeting will provide the opportunity to delegations planning to attend the Ministerial Conference to consider the outcome documents of the planned Ministerial segment, as well as to advise the secretariat on organizational and other substantive matters in advance of the Ministerial Conference.
