DESCRIPTION:UPDATE: Registration closed on 10 April 2026\nThe ECOSOC Forum
  on Financing for Development and SDG Investment Fair will be held on 20 t
 o 24 April 2026\, at UN Headquarters\, New York.\nThe Forum this year assu
 mes added importance and a critical role in mobilizing momentum and concre
 te solutions from the 4th International Conference on Financing for Develo
 pment (FFD4). The event will bring together ministers and high-level gover
 nment officials as well as senior officials of international organizations
 . Civil society organizations\, the business sector and local authorities 
 will also be represented.\nBuilding on the success of the International Bu
 siness Forum held alongside the Fourth International Conference on Financi
 ng for Development in Sevilla\, the SDG Investment Fair serves to advance 
 the Sevilla Commitment and key action areas of the Business Communiqué re
 leased by the FFD4 Business Steering Committee. The Fair provides a platfo
 rm to connect investors\, governments\, development finance institutions a
 nd the UN SDG investment ecosystem to find solutions to mobilize investmen
 t for the sustainable development.\nThe 2026 SDG Investment Fair will incl
 ude policy dialogues with leading actors on blended finance\, country-led 
 platforms\, targeted reassessment of financial regulation\, and access to 
 finance for MSMEs. The Fair will also feature investment roundtables highl
 ighting investment opportunities in developing countries in energy transit
 ion\, blue economy\, and digital transformation.\nThe SDG Investment Fair 
 has demonstrated a unique value proposition as an inclusive global arena f
 or advancing investable projects and kickstarting new partnerships\, knowl
 edge sharing\, networking and connecting to investors with the aim of brid
 ging the financing gap. Since 2018\, projects worth over $70 billion have 
 been presented by over 30 countries.  \nRegistration\nRegistration will c
