DESCRIPTION:In its Resolution 57/14\, the Human Rights Council requested O
 HCHR to convey a one-day intersessional panel on measures to prevent\, cou
 nter and address dehumanizing and harmful narratives about migrants and mi
 gration\, hate speech\, xenophobia and related forms of intolerance agains
 t migrants\, and on avenues to strengthen national\, regional and internat
 ional monitoring and complaint mechanisms to report cases of human rights 
 violations\, discrimination and abuse against migrants at international bo
 rders\, aiming to ensure access to justice\, highlighting best practices a
 nd challenges in this regard.\nThe panel will be structured in two session
 s: \n1) Preventing and addressing harmful narratives about migrants and m
 igration. \n2) Strengthening human rights monitoring and complaint mechan
