DESCRIPTION:Many countries in the UNECE region are increasingly affected b
 y natural disasters\, with severe impacts on communities\, economies and t
 he environment. To support better preparedness and resilience\, the UNECE 
 Working Party on Land Administration (WPLA)\, in collaboration with German
 y\, Italy and the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG)\, is organiz
 ing a webinar on disaster risk reduction through effective geospatial info
 rmation management and land administration.\nThe webinar will showcase cou
 ntry case studies\, including experiences with integrating geospatial and 
 land administration data\, and will highlight how such approaches can stre
 ngthen risk assessment\, planning and response capacities. Participants wi
 ll gain practical insights into tools\, institutional arrangements and les
 sons learned that can inform disaster risk reduction efforts in the UNECE
