The high-level launch event of the 2026 GEM Report will take place in Room I at UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris on 25 March 2026. It will be divided into two parts:
- The morning session will feature opening remarks, a presentation of the 2026 GEM Report, and two ministerial panels
- The afternoon session will feature thematic policy discussions co-organized with UNESCO and partners on different aspects of the access and equity theme.
The event will be streamed live and simultaneous interpretation in 6 UN languages on the day. Ministers of education from all UNESCO Member States will be invited to participate in this global discussion to kick-off the discussions on a post-2030 agenda.
Registration is only needed for participants attending in-person (!)
