DESCRIPTION:The Education Data and Statistics Committee (EDSC) serves as a
  key platform for advancing the global education data agenda\, fostering c
 ollaboration among national statistical offices\, ministries of education\
 , international organizations\, and development partners.\nThe 12th meetin
 g of the EDSC builds on the outcomes of the 11th EDSC meeting held in Pari
 s in February 2025\, which emphasized the need for stronger national data 
 systems\, enhanced data interoperability\, and increased alignment with th
 e Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) monitoring framework. The meeting
  is viewed as the official start of the preparation for the 2nd UNESCO Con
 ference on Education Data and Statistics to be held in 2027.\n\nhttps://in
