DESCRIPTION:NGOs that are accredited to and in good standing with the Unit
 ed Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) may designate representati
 ves to attend the annual sessions of the Commission on Population and Deve
 lopment. The 59th session will be held from 13 April to 17 April 2026 at U
 nited Nations Headquarters in New York.\nSpecial Theme: Population\, techn
 ology and research in the context of sustainable development\nRegistration
  for CPD59 in Indico is valid only for representatives of NGOs in consulta
 tive status with ECOSOC. A list of NGOs in active consultative status with
  ECOSOC is available here https://undocs.org/E/2023/INF/5 \nOnce you have
  registered for CPD59\, your organization needs to approve your registrati
 on in order for it to be valid.  \nA maximum of 10 registrations per o
 rganization are permitted.\nThe deadline to register is 13 March 2026. \n
