DESCRIPTION:The Global Framework on Chemicals - For a Planet Free of Harm 
 from Chemicals and Waste (GFC)\, provides the essential building blocks fo
 r a future in which humanity benefits from chemicals in a safe and sustain
 able manner\, while avoiding their negative impacts.  \nThe Framework\, 
 adopted in September 2023 at the fifth International Conference on Chemica
 ls Management (ICCM5)\, seeks to protect both the planet and human health.
 \nThis unique multi-stakeholder agreement brings in a variety of sectors i
 ncluding representatives from governments\, the private sector\, non-gover
 nmental and intergovernmental organizations\, youth and academia. \nPleas
 e note that Sunday 15 November 2026 will be reserved for briefings and reg
 ional meetings. In addition\, the Secretariat plans to organize a series o
 f webinars and briefings in the coming months\, and we kindly invite you a
 nd your teams to remain attentive to these opportunities for engagement.\n
