DESCRIPTION:The International Symposium on the Future of the Right to Educ
 ation will be held on 9 December 2025 at UNESCO Headquarters (Paris) to ma
 rk the International Human Rights Day and the 65th anniversary of the 1960
  Convention against Discrimination in Education (CADE).\nThe symposium wil
 l also serve as the official closing of the eleventh Consultation on the 1
 960 Convention and the launch of the 2025 Global Report on the Right to Ed
 ucation. It will bring together Member States\, civil society\, youth\, so
 cial partners\, and experts to take stock of progress\, highlight innovati
 ons\, and address emerging challenges such as digitalization\, AI\, climat
 e change\, inclusion\, and displacement.\nThrough interactive sessions\, h
 igh-level panels\, and thematic discussions\, the event aims to renew glob
 al commitments\, mobilize partnerships\, and shape the future of the right
  to education throughout life.\nInterpretation will be provided in English
 \, French\, and Spanish\, and the symposium will be livestreamed online.\n
