DESCRIPTION:The UN General Assembly (GA) will convene a high-level meeting
  on the overall review of the implementation of the outcomes of the World 
 Summit on the Information Society (WSIS+20)\, at the highest possible leve
 l\, on 16 and 17 December 2025 including side events starting on 15 Decemb
 er 2025. \nPlease take note of the following registration guidelines\, wh
 ich apply for the registration to the High-Level Meeting and side events t
 aking place inside the UN Headquarters: \n\nAll onsite stakeholder partic
 ipants must register through the UN Accreditation System and create an acc
 ount on the INDICO platform to attend the meeting. For technical issues\, 
 please\, reach out to: Indico Helpdesk at support.accreditation@un.org. \
 nIndividuals applying for registration will need to demonstrate affiliatio
 n with an organization in consultative status with ECOSOC or with provable
  relevance to the WSIS+20 process. Registrants can check if their organisa
 tion has a consultative status with ECOSOC here. \nDue to space restricti
 ons\, organisations that are Non-Government/Non-Member State applying thro
 ugh Indico will be allowed to request registration for up to 4 (four) del
 egates for the meeting.\nNon-governmental participants will need to attach
  a letter of representation confirming they have been delegated by their o
 rganisation to participate\, signed by the head of their organisation and 
 including the participant's full name as reflected in valid passport/gover
 nment ID. A template is available here. \nJournalists intending to cover 
 the event must apply for UNHQ press accreditation here: indico.un.org/UNHQ
 /#media\nParticipants under 18 years old will need to be registered and ac
 companied by a Chaperone who must also be duly registered to attend the Co
 nference through the same organisation. This information must be included 
 in the affiliation letter to be uploaded to the registration platform. If 
 chaperones are not the legal guardians\, a permission letter from the pare
 nts or legal guardians must be submitted at the time of registration. \n\
 nPlease register prior to the deadline on 21 November 2025 (11:59 p.m. EST
 ). \nOnly upon approval of the registration request\, individuals will be

 ts are responsible for all necessary arrangements related to their in-pers
 on participation\, including travel\, visa and others\, as appropriate. Th
 e Secretariat will not follow up on individual requests for visa letters n
 either will liaise with the host country on visa issues. \nThe United Nati
 ons is delighted to welcome registered stakeholders to attend the WSIS+20 
 High-level Meeting. While we strive to accommodate all registered particip
 ants\, due to limited space at UNHQ\, security and safety measures may be
  implemented to manage access to the venue and conference rooms.\nOnce the
  registration is approved\, a confirmation email will be sent to your acco
 unt. Please make sure to have the email stored on your mobile device and p
 resented when traveling to the venue along with a valid photo-ID document
