
The FAO Liaison Office in Geneva, together with the Permanent Missions of Brazil, China, the Holy See, Hungary, Italy, Lebanon, Senegal, the Federal Office for Agriculture of Switzerland (FOAG), as well as the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), invite you to the FAO at 80: A Legacy of Action, A Future of Innovation Exhibition.
Marking the FAO 80th anniversary, the exhibition will offer a dynamic journey through Organization’s history, highlighting its pivotal role in addressing global food security and agricultural challenges. Attendees will explore FAO’s achievements by decade, current activities under the Four Better frameworks, and its vision for the future in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals. The exhibition will also showcase FAO’s collaborations within International Geneva, and visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a virtual reality of the lives of pastoralists in the Karamoja and Somalia.
The exhibition will take place from 9 -17 October 2025 in the historic Salle des Pas Perdus of the Palais des Nations.
