The System of Programme Management (SPM) Training and the Annual PMO Network Meeting, both to be held in the Regional Office in Manila, on the following dates:
- SPM Training: 22–24 September 2025
- PMO Network Meeting: 25–26 September 2025
SPM Training (22–24 September)
This training is primarily intended for Programme Management Officers (PMOs) at the budget centre level. It will include both theoretical and hands-on sessions covering:
- Results-based operational planning using standard products and services
- Indicator baselining and target setting
- SPM tool modules related to budgeting and resource allocation
According to the latest updates, the SPM module will be used for activity and workforce planning, as well as for implementing operational plans for PB 2026–2027, making this training critical for smooth operations in the next biennium. Participants are expected to subsequently facilitate training at the budget centre level for relevant technical and general service staff.
PMO Network Meeting (25–26 September)
This meeting will focus on:
- Peer review of draft operational plans
- Networking and sharing of experiences and challenges in strategic programme management
- Review of baseline and targets for leading output indicators
- Discussions on the WHO Evaluation Policy and the WPR Evaluation Plan for PB 2026–2027
