The Youth Assembly of the UNECE Regional Forum on Sustainable Development (RFSD) is a self-organized, "by youth, for youth" space for young people to discuss their concerns and issues, and to present possible solutions to the challenges they face within the UNECE region. Organized by the Major Group for Children and Youth (MGCY) in coordination with UNECE, this platform empowers young voices to state their perspectives and needs directly to policymakers.
The Virtual Day (18 April 2026) dives deep into discussing pressing matters and exchanging experiences around the SDGs under review (6, 7, 9, 11, and 17). Featuring panels with UN agencies and UNECE representatives, it provides participants with the tools to understand and engage in regional processes.

The In-Person Meeting (20 April 2026), taking place in Geneva, revolves around connecting with one another and present UN Agencies, and consolidating youth discussions into an official position, which will be presented during the High-level Policy Segment of the RFSD.
