Description

The Intergovernmental Working Group on the Human Rights of Older Persons has been established by the Human Rights Council with the mandate to elaborate a legally binding instrument on the human rights of older persons, with the objective of promoting, protecting, and ensuring the full enjoyment of human rights by older persons.

The second session is scheduled to be held from 26-30 October 2026 in Room VII, Palais des Nations, Geneva.
