DESCRIPTION:The twenty-third session of the Committee for the Review of th
 e Implementation of the Convention (CRIC 23) of the United Nations Conven
 tion to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) will be held from 1–5 December 20
 25 in Panama Convention Center. The venue address is Calle General Juan D.
  Perón\, Amador\, Panama City\, Panama.\nConsultations of affected countr
 y Parties of the Convention’s Regional Implementation Annexes for Africa
 \, Latin America and the Caribbean\, the Northern Mediterranean\, and Cent
 ral and Eastern Europe will be convened on 30 November 2025 at the Panama 
 Convention Center ahead of CRIC 23.\nVISA\nAs part of the special facilita
 tion measures for CRIC 23\, the Government of Panama has enabled an extrao
 rdinary visa application process exclusively for participants of the event
 .  This process will be conducted entirely online through the official pl
 atform of the National Migration Service of Panama.\nAll participants who 
 need a visa to enter Panama are strongly advised to urgently apply for one
  via the visa application platform starting 25 August 2025\, and participa
 nts are strongly encouraged to submit their applications no later than 15 
 November  2025 at 11:59 p.m. (Panama time).\nWhile applications submitted
  after this deadline may still be reviewed\, the Government of Panama cann
 ot guarantee that visas requested beyond this date will be processed in ti
