The Implementation Forum will take place on 3 and 4 September and will feature a series of events. Over the course of the two days, the Forum will include, among others, the Climate Week Opening Ceremony; a number of events hosted by the COP 30 Presidency, including events on “Mutirão”, climate action agenda and a mandated dialogue on advancing the role of local communities in the UNFCCC Process. Other sessions during the Implementation Forum will focus on climate finance and adaptation, for example the Adaptation Finance for Africa event and Public-Private dialogue on Finance. As in Climate Week 1 2025, a dedicated space will be created for the Implementation Labs, which will focus on thematic issues, such as forests, agriculture, sustainable cities, energy transition and access, and carbon markets.
