The FAO Liaison Office in Geneva, in collaboration with the FAO Right to Food Team of the Rural Transformation and Gender Equality Division (ESP), invites you to a hybrid briefing session on “The power of the Right to Food to achieve better nutrition for all”.
This session is part of the new FAO in Geneva Right to Food Thematic Dialogue Series that seeks to emphasize the need for concerted action and commitment at all levels to fully realize the Right to Food for all, to advocate for the redoubling of efforts to build inclusive agrifood systems that uphold human rights, and to highlight the cohesion and collaborative action between Rome and Geneva across Permanent Missions, UN agencies, civil society and academia.
In line with The UN Decade of Action on Nutrition (extended to 2030) and the guiding principles of the FAO's nutrition strategy, this session aims to explore and promote the transformative potential of the Right to Food as a legal and policy tool to accelerate progress toward better nutrition outcomes for all.
