Welcome to the registration for Representatives of NGOs in consultative status with ECOSOC to the Third United Nations Conference on Land-Locked Developing Countries (LLDC3). The conference will take place from 5 to 8 August 2025 in Awaza, Turkmenistan, under the theme "Driving Progress Through Partnerships."
With no direct territorial access to the sea, Land-locked Developing Countries (LLDCs) face unique and significant challenges in achieving the sustainable development goals. Cut off from the global marketplace and without the means to develop adequate transport and logistics infrastructure, LLDCs struggle with international trade, connectivity, and economic development.
The Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries is an opportunity to explore innovative solutions, meaningful partnerships, and increased investment that can help address these challenges and unlock the potential of landlocked developing countries. By supporting these countries, we can help to build a more equitable and prosperous future for all.
Relevant stakeholders who are from NGOs in consultative status with ECOSOC may participate in the conference by following the REGISTER NOW link at the bottom of this page. The registration deadline is 27 June 2025.
Please Note
* ONLY organizations that fall within the above category will be able to use this form to register participants for the LLDC3 Conference.
* Each Organization will be able to register up to 10 (ten) representatives. If more than ten are registered under one organization, the Secretariat will approve registrations on a first-come first-serve basis, with reference to the letter of representation provided by the Organization.
* Participants must register individually via the relevant INDICO form. BULK REGISTRATIONS BY NGO CONFERENCE FOCAL POINTS ARE NOT PERMITTED BY THE SYSTEM.
* For organzations specially-accredited to participate in LLDC3, please register at https://indico.un.org/event/1017762/
* Submitting registration does not guarantee your in-person participation. You will receive an approval letter confirming your in-person participation if your registration is approved by the United Nations.
Important: Please visit the Visa Information section of the LLDC3 website for guidelines and requirements for entering Turkmenistan. The list of confirmed participants may be shared with the host country to facilitate the processing of visas and access to the conference.
