DESCRIPTION:This Expert Roundtable on Supervising AI by Competent Authorit
 ies aims to bring together policy experts\, technical specialists\, and co
 mpetent authorities to address the critical operational challenges in impl
 ementing effective supervision under the EU AI Act and its interplay with 
 other related legislations. Through focused roundtable discussions on reso
 urce allocation strategies\, cross-jurisdictional harmonization\, testing 
 methodologies\, policy trends\, and practical testing frameworks\, this ro
 undtable aims to reflect and draw insights on the foundations for consiste
 nt\, efficient\, and innovation-friendly supervision across the European U
 nion and beyond.\nParticipants will contribute to developing actionable pa
 thways for supervisory authorities facing the complex task of overseeing r
 apidly evolving AI technologies while balancing innovation\, fundamental r
 ights protection\, and compliance. The insights gathered will inform a com
 prehensive report on "Operationalising Pathways for AI Supervision" to gui
 de implementation efforts across competent authorities as the final delive
