The Island Youth Forum (IYF) from which precedes the 2025 Global Sustainable Islands Summit (GSIS) and hosted by Island Innovation, aims to facilitate meaningful dialogue and collaboration among young leaders, equipping them with key skills to tackle the unique challenges facing SIDS while seizing opportunities for sustainable growth and innovation. Under the Youth4Capacity programme, the UNFCCC will host capacity building sessions on selected aspects of climate policy in the Youth forum and Day 1 of the GSIS.
How to register

First, create an account in the system following the steps below:
- Step 1: Go to Indico.un.org.
- Step 2: Enter your email address and click “Send me a verification email”.
- Step 3: Go to your inbox and click the verification link you receive, which will take you to a new page. Please check your spam folder in case you don't receive the email verification link in your inbox.
- Step 4: Complete the “Creating a new Indico profile” form on the new page by filling in all mandatory fields and clicking on “Create my Indico profile”.
PLEASE NOTE: After completing the four steps, you are NOT automatically registered for the events.
Once you have successfully created an account in the system (steps 1-4 above), click "Register Now" to register for the events.
If you already have an Indico account, you can register by clicking on "Register now".
