Organized by the Organization of American States (OAS) & the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR)
As international efforts to ensure stability and responsible state behaviour in cyberspace gain momentum, integrating gender perspectives remains an essential yet often overlooked priority.
This event will mark the launch of a new study by the OAS Cybersecurity Program and UNIDIR, providing a gender-responsive framework for implementing the 11 UN norms. Grounded in the Women, Peace, and Security Agenda and in case studies from the Americas, the report outlines how cyber threats can impact individuals differently based on gender and provides practical guidance for more inclusive cyber governance.
Additional information will be shared closer to the date of the event.
