FAO in Geneva Fisheries Trade Talks: Information Session on FAO Sub-Committee on Fish Trade, Thursday 15 May 2025, 15h00-16h00 (CEST)

The FAO Liaison Office in Geneva, in collaboration with the Fisheries and Aquaculture Division of FAO, will host a hybrid event as part of the FAO in Geneva Fisheries Trade Talks series, serving as an informational session on the COFI Sub-Committee on Fish Trade (COFI:FT).

Considering the relevance of the mandate of COFI:FT and its work to Geneva-based discussions, ahead of the 20^th session of COFI: FT, which is scheduled to take place virtually from 8 to 12 September 2025, this session will provide a timely opportunity:

• To provide information regarding COFI:FT, encompassing its mandate, structure, functions, and its work and outcomes.
• To inform about the thematic items to be discussed at the 20^th  session of COFI:FT.
