DESCRIPTION:In 1994\, within just over 100 days\, close to one million mem
 bers of the Tutsi minority were systematically murdered during the genocid
 e against the Tutsi in Rwanda. Moderate Hutus and others who opposed the m
 assacres were also killed during this period. \nThis year to mark the 202
 5 International Day of Reflection on the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi i
 n Rwanda\, UNESCO is organizing in partnership with the Permanent Delegati
 on of Rwanda to UNESCO a commemorative ceremony on 7 April 2025.\n\n En 1
 994\, en l'espace d'un peu plus de 100 jours\, près d’un million de mem
 bres de la minorité tutsie ont été systématiquement assassinés au cou
 rs du génocide contre les Tutsis au Rwanda. Des Hutus modérés et d'autr
 es personnes qui se sont opposées aux massacres ont également été tué
 s au cours de cette période. \nCette année\, pour marquer la Journée i
 nternationale de réflexion sur le génocide des Tutsis au Rwanda en 1994\
 , l'UNESCO organise en partenariat avec la Délégation permanente du Rwan
 da auprès de l'UNESCO une cérémonie commémorative le 7 avril 2025. \n\
