This specific event will be an information briefing session to introduce the Right to Food (concept and history, international legal framework, state obligations, RTF Guidelines...) and to unpack what it means in practice. It will serve as the official launch of the new Right to Food Dialogue Series that seek to emphasize the need for concerted action and commitment at all levels to fully realize the RTF for all, to advocate for the redoubling efforts to build inclusive agrifood systems that uphold human rights, and to highlight the cohesion and collaborative action between Rome and Geneva across Permanent Missions, UN agencies, civil society and academia.
