Overview:
CMA 5 launched a two-year UAE – Belém work programme, on the development of indicators for measuring progress achieved towards the targets outlined in the UAE framework for global climate resilience. Following a lot of work 2024, where the SB Chairs convened technical experts and an initial review of indicators took place, CMA 6 provided further guidance for the work programme in 2025, including requesting the Chairs of the subsidiary bodies to organize a hybrid workshop under the work programme, to take place prior to SB 62, to facilitate the work of the experts.
Prior to the workshop, a one-day meeting for experts-only will take place, followed by a two-day workshop. Both events will take place in Bonn, Germany:
Expert-only meeting: 20 March 2025
Workshop: 21–22 March 2025.
