DESCRIPTION:Le 23 mai 2025\, à l'occasion du 50ème anniversaire de l'Off
 ice central de lutte contre le trafic illicite des biens culturels (OCBC)\
 , l’OCBC\, en partenariat avec l'UNESCO\, organise un colloque pour mett
 re en lumière la nécessité de la coopération dans la lutte contre ce f
 léau.\n \nL’OCBC a été créé dans la lignée des recommandations de
  la Convention de l’UNESCO de 1970 concernant les mesures à prendre pou
 r interdire et empêcher l'importation\, l'exportation et le transfert de 
 propriété illicites des biens culturels\, qui encourage la mise en place
  d’unités spécialisées au sein des forces de police nationales pour l
 utter contre le vol\, les fouilles clandestines et le commerce illégal de
 s biens culturels. La France possède un cadre juridique solide et est pro
 activement engagé dans la lutte contre le trafic illicite de biens cultur
 els\, ainsi que dans les efforts pour renforcer la coopération internatio
 nale.\n \nCet événement réunira des experts internationaux\, des profe
 ssionnels dans le domaine\, ainsi que des organisations partenaires autour
  du thème « Unis face au trafic des biens culturels : la coopération 
 au cœur de la lutte ». Tout en célébrant le travail accompli au cours
  des 50 dernières années par l'OCBC\, ce colloque sera également l'occa
 sion de :\n\nEnrichir le dialogue international et offrir de nouvelles per
 spectives pour renforcer la coopération entre les pays dans cette lutte c
 ommune\nSensibiliser le public à l'ampleur et aux conséquences du trafic
  illicite de biens culturels.\n\n \nCet événement se déroulera en pré
 sentiel au siège de l'UNESCO à Paris. Le colloque sera également retran

 e Central Office against Illicit Traffic of Cultural Property (OCBC)\, the
  OCBC\, in partnership with UNESCO\, is organizing a symposium to highligh
 t the need for cooperation in the fight against this scourge.\n \nThe OCB
 C was set up in line with the recommendations of the UNESCO 1970 Conventio
 n on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import\, Export a
 nd Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property\, which encourages the estab
 lishment of specialized units within national police forces to combat thef
 t\, clandestine excavations and the illegal trade in cultural property. Fr
 ance has a solid legal framework and is proactively engaged in the fight a
 gainst the illicit trafficking of cultural property\, as well as in effort
 s to strengthen international cooperation.\n \nThis event will bring toge
 ther international experts\, professionals in the field and partner organi
 zations around the theme ‘United against trafficking of cultural propert
 y: cooperation at the heart of the fight’. As well as celebrating the wo
 rk of the OCBC over the past 50 years\, the colloquium will provide an opp
 ortunity to:\n\nEnrich international dialogue and offer new perspectives f
 or strengthening cooperation between countries\; \nRaise awareness of the
  scale and consequences of illicit trafficking of cultural property.\n\n
