The Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement (CMA) at its fifth session requested the LEG to update the technical guidelines for the national adaptation plan process, reflecting the provisions of decision 2/CMA.5 on the Global Goal on Adaptation (GGA) as well as the best available science, including the Sixth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (Decision 2/CMA.5, para 47). As part of its work plan in updating the technical guidelines, the LEG is convening the meeting of experts to help in reviewing a draft of the updated technical guidelines, as a way to incorporate inputs and feedback from the broadest range of stakeholders.
How to register

First, create an account in the system following the steps below:
- Step 1: Go to Indico.un.org.

- Step 3: Go to your inbox and click the verification link you receive, which will take you to a new page. Please check your spam folder in case you don't receive the email verification link in your inbox.
- Step 4: Complete the “Creating a new Indico profile” form on the new page by filling in all mandatory fields and clicking on “Create my Indico profile”.
