Dear Users, Indico.UN has been updated to v3.19.0, introducing face picture quality verification in registration forms. This ensures uploaded images meet official guidelines, as recommended by the United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS).

In accordance with decision 1/CP.16, paragraph 63, biennial update reports (BURs) from developing country Parties are to be subject to the international consultation and analysis (ICA) process, within six months of submission. The ICA process is guided by the “modalities and guidelines for international consultation and analysis” contained in annex IV to decision 2/CP.17 and the “composition, modalities and procedures of the team of technical experts under international consultation and analysis” contained in the annex to decision 20/CP.19.

Further, decision 14/CP.19, paragraph 7, outlines that developing country Parties seeking to obtain and receive payments for results-based actions on REDD+ can submit relevant information and data through the BUR in the form of a technical annex as per decision 2/CP.17, annex III, paragraph 19. Paragraph 8 of the same decision outlines that the submission of the technical annex is voluntary and in the context of results-based payments. As mandated in paragraphs 10–14, a technical annex was submitted by Mozambique and as such, Mozambique will be subject to technical analysis by two land use, land-use change and forestry (LULUCF) experts.

The technical analysis is scheduled to be organized in Bonn, from 24 to 28 March 2025
