The new programme - Leadership, Orientation, and Guidance for Operational Support (LOGOS) - will build on the current Enhanced Training for Operational Support (ETHOS) programme and extend talent development beyond technical skills, aligning with the key responsibilities of CMS&DMS to manage a range of operational support functions. The goal of the LOGOS programme is to develop and prepare candidates for leadership roles as CMS&DMS by equipping them with the essential skills, knowledge, and experience needed to excel in these positions.
The programme is envisioned for staff serving at the P5 and D1 levels, working mostly in administrative or operational support matters, drawn from field missions and other entities across the UN Secretariat. The candidates must have strong leadership potential and a willingness to serve as future senior leaders in United Nations field missions. In line with the United Nations system-wide Strategy on Gender Parity, female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
