The Intergovernmental Meeting convened by the Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) for the purpose of considering the establishment of a science-policy panel to contribute further to the sound management of chemicals and waste and to prevent pollution (IM) will take place on 20 June 2025 at the Convention and Exhibition Centre in Punta del Este, Uruguay.
The meeting will take place back-to-back with the resumed third session of the ad hoc open-ended working group on a science-policy panel to contribute further to the sound management of chemicals and waste and to prevent pollution (OEWG 3.2), being held from 14 to 18 June 2025 at the same venue.
