يسر مكتب الأمم المتحدة للحد من مخاطر الكوارث – المكتب الإقليمي للدول العربية، بالتعاون مع حكومة الكويت وجامعة الدول العربية، أن يعلن عن المنتدى الإقليمي العربي السادس للحد من مخاطر الكوارث.
تحت شعار " "بناء مجتمعات عربية قادرة على الصمود: من الفهم إلى العمل". سينعقد المنتدى الإقليمي العربي السادس في الفترة من 9 إلى 12 فبراير 2025 في مدينة الكويت، وتستضيفه دولة الكويت. ستتضمن المنصة سلسلة من الأحداث الجانبية للمؤتمر.
وسيجمع هذا التجمع المحوري مجموعة متنوعة من المشاركين، بما في ذلك الحكومات الوطنية والمحلية، ومنظمات المجتمع المدني، ووكالات الأمم المتحدة، والمنظمات الدولية، والمؤسسات المالية، ووسائل الإعلام، وكيانات القطاع الخاص، والمؤسسات الأكاديمية والبحثية. وسيشارك هؤلاء أصحاب المصلحة معًا في مناقشات مهمة وجهود تعاونية تهدف إلى تعزيز الحد من مخاطر الكوارث في جميع أنحاء المنطقة العربية.
The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction - Regional Office for Arab States (UNDRR ROAS), in collaboration with the Government of Kuwait and the League of Arab States, is pleased to announce the upcoming Sixth Arab Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR).
Under the theme "Building Resilient Arab Communities: From Understanding to Action," the 6th Arab Regional Platform will be held from 9 to 12 Februsry 2025 in Kuwait City, graciously hosted by the State of Kuwait. The platform will include a series of pre-conference side events.
This pivotal gathering will convene a diverse array of participants, including national and local governments, civil society organizations, United Nations agencies, international organizations, financial institutions, media outlets, private sector entities, and academic and research institutions. Together, these stakeholders will engage in crucial discussions and collaborative efforts to advance disaster risk reduction across the Arab region.
