This workshop is designed to address the urgent need for UN Women to strengthen and standardize its offer to the humanitarian system. It aims to increase the skills and capabilities of UN Women's country office Representatives and Deputy Representatives to implement effective humanitarian responses.
Objectives
The objective is to 1) equip senior managers with the leadership skills and tools to effectively advocate for UN Women in humanitarian decision-making spaces, 2) increase their skills to lead country offices in implementing UN Women's humanitarian offer in crisis contexts, and 3) strengthen their familiarity and proficiency with CERF and CBPFs. Participants will be able independently lead a UN Women humanitarian intervention by the end of the workshop.
Participants
The workshop targets UN Women country office Representatives and Deputy Representatives involved in implementing gender-responsive coordination and operations in protracted humanitarian contexts.
