Objectives of the WHA side event
The aim of this side events is to facilitate a dialogue with Member States on priorities, challenges and potential solutions for strengthening midwifery care and services and launch the global position paper on midwifery models of care.
The specific objectives are:
- to share the global position paper on transitioning to midwifery models of care;
- to facilitate a dialogue among Member States on priorities, challenges and potential solutions for transitioning to midwifery models of care to inform the Midwifery Acceleration Roadmap.
