The UN Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) will hold its annual meeting on security issues in UN Peace Missions from 10-14 June at UNGSC Brindisi. The meeting is intended to bring together UNDSS Principal and Chief Security Advisors in context where the UN has a peace mission, and Chief Security Officers in DPO, DPPA and DOS missions and service centres.
The meeting will focus on examining and addressing evolving security issues; lessons learned to help ensure consistency and efficiency in security management processes; and common practices in peace mission environments.
