DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Conference will focus\, among others\, on the role of 
 civil society worldwide in advocating for a durable and sustainable ceasef
 ire in Gaza and in achieving accountability for Israel’s war crimes in t
 he Occupied Palestinian Territory\, including East Jerusalem.\n\nIn conven
 ing this conference\, the Committee aims at strengthening partnerships wit
 h civil society organizations\, identifying common priorities and messagin
 g on core and emerging topics\, discussing the responsibility of Member St
 ates to prevent and to protect the Palestinian people\, and ensuring accou
 ntability as a fundamental requirement for the justice that is vital for p
 eace. The conference will also aim at facilitating partnerships among CSOs
  worldwide working for a just and lasting solution to the question of Pale
 stine.\n\nAll Member States and Observers\, United Nations organizations\,
  intergovernmental and civil society organizations are invited to attend.
