Geopolitical Order at Turning Point & Implications on the Future of Health4All

The Power of Cohesiveness in the G7 & G20

This year's H20 Summit will be organised at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva with the support of the World Health Organization.

The theme of this year’s H20 Summit will be Geopolitical Order at Turning Point & Implications on the Future of Health4All - The Power of Cohesiveness in the G7 & G20. Annually the H20 summit brings together a high-level group of stakeholders from across G20 and G7 governments, policymakers, and global health organisations from across different sectors including the finance and investor community to provide concrete solutions to meet the global health and financing challenges by 2030 and beyond with a concerted action.

Day One of the Summit will focus on financing for global health, highlighting the link between health and socio-economic growth and the role of multilateral development banks in supporting SDG3. Day one will also look at how to increase fiscal space within LMICs for investment into health services and the role of the G7 and G20 in achieving Universal Health Coverage. The G20&G7 Health and Development Partnership will also be present the “Roadmap to Sustainable finance in Health” report, which focuses on what sustainable finance means for health, how we can develop a taxonomy and metrics to measure the socio-economic impact of health investments and existing innovative finance models that can inform models in health as well.

Day two of the Summit will look at pressing global health challenges, such as antimicrobial resistance, digital health technologies, women’s health and the link between health and climate change.
