We are pleased to announce the next in the series of in-person briefings on understanding the causes and consequences of poor sound in virtual/hybrid meetings and steps that can be taken to mitigate same.

The briefings have been developed specifically for Substantive Secretariats in view of the essential role they play in ensuring the smooth preparation for, and running of, remote meetings, and in particular in encouraging remote participants to adhere to the recommended practices and explaining why those practices are important.

One of the key aims of the briefings is to equip you with the knowledge you need to be able to understand the issues, and thus be better positioned to answer queries from and advise clients, as well as tools/resources you can share directly with them.

These briefings will also serve as an opportunity to give feedback on the issues and difficulties you may have encountered in remote and hybrid meetings.

The interactive briefings will be led by representatives of the Audio-Visual and Interpretation Services and last approximately two hours.

All briefings are conducted in person. The slots for this session are:

Nous sommes heureux d'annoncer la reprise des séances d'information en présentiel sur les causes et conséquences du mauvais son en réunion hybride/virtuelle et les bons réflexes pour atténuer au mieux ces dernières.

Ces séances d’information ont été créées spécialement à l’intention des points focaux des secrétariats techniques en raison du rôle crucial qu'ils jouent pour assurer le bon déroulement des séances et leur préparation. Il s’agit de les appuyer dans leurs efforts de sensibilisation des participants quant à l'importance d'appliquer les pratiques recommandées lors des réunions à distance et hybrides.

L'objectif de ces briefings est de vous permettre de mieux comprendre la problématique de la qualité du son et les enjeux, de vous indiquer les outils/ressources disponibles à transmettre aux clients, pour mieux les conseiller et répondre à leurs questions. 

Ces briefings seront également l'occasion de donner votre avis sur les problèmes et difficultés que vous avez pu rencontrer lors de réunions à distance/hybrides.

Animée par des représentants des services audiovisuels et d'interprétation, la séance se veut interactive et dure environ deux heures.
