Discover the necessity of multilingual education and how it can shape the future. 

On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, we invite you to take part in a thought-provoking discussion on the importance of multilingualism in education for fostering diversity and multicultural identity. We are pleased to welcome experts from UNESCO and UNIGE. Find the full programme below.

  • Keynote – by Prof. Francois Grin, Director, Research Group “Economics, Languages and Education”, Faculty of Translation and Interpreting (FTI), University of Geneva (UNIGE), Switzerland 
     

  • Experience sharing – by a language teacher at the Center for Learning and Multilingualism at UN Geneva 
     

  • Keynote - by Mrs. Isla Gordon, Principal of Campus des Nations, ECOLINT (International School of Geneva), Switzerland & Dr. Eowyn Crisfield, specialist in multilingual education and lecturer at Oxford Brookes University

In room, the Center for Learning and Multilingualism (CLM) will have an information stand on language courses at the UN Geneva, and will offer you tips to learn languages.
