At its second session, the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime established an open-ended interim working group on technical assistance to advise and assist the Conference in the implementation of its mandate on technical assistance (Conference decision 2/6).
In its decision 3/2, entitled "Implementation of the provisions on international cooperation of the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime", the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime decided that an open-ended working group on international cooperation would be a constant element of the Conference.
The thirteenth session of the Working Group on International Cooperation and the thirteenth session of the Working Group of Government Experts on Technical Assistance will be held from 23 to 27 May 2022 in Vienna, Austria.
