IMPORTANT:

• When submitting the application, please upload the “UN Event Pass/Ticket”) that you have received from UNEP as confirmation of your approved registration in place of the required “invitation letter from the host (UN Office in Nairobi)”.
• After the online submission of the application, please submit the application confirmation number (“CEV number”) through the following link: https://indico.un.org/event/1000698. This will greatly facilitate your visa application process.

Please also note the Kenyan Government has laid out the travel requirements for all persons entering Kenya. All meeting participants must respect the host country entry requirements regarding COVID-19, including vaccination requirements, COVID-19 testing and other related general requirements. As a general rule, travelers above 18 years are expected to possess a valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate and a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of entry.
