COURSE OBJECTIVE
The course will be an induction package to introduce key concepts of the DOS Environmental Strategy for Field Missions as a tool for education of troops in their command language. This will be a basis for further thematic training in various aspects of environmental management aligned with the vision of the Strategy which is to succeed in the deployment of “responsible missions that achieve maximum efficiency in their use of natural resources and operate at minimum risk to people, societies and ecosystems; contributing to a positive impact on these wherever possible”.
