The UN Responsible Business and Human Rights Forum for Asia-Pacific is the region’s leading platform bringing together governments, businesses, civil society, and rights holders to advance responsible business conduct.

At a time of geopolitical, economic, and technological disruption, the 2026 Forum focuses on how to build resilience while advancing human rights in practice. While progress on policy frameworks and human rights due diligence is growing across the region, translating these commitments into consistent, real-world outcomes remains a defining challenge.

Anchored in the theme Building Resilience, Advancing Rights, the Forum explores how stronger governance, more resilient markets and supply chains, effective accountability and remedy, and inclusive participation can reinforce each other. It places particular emphasis on implementation – supporting practical exchange, peer learning, and collaborative problem solving to address gaps in supply chains, access to remedy, and stakeholder engagement.

By centering the perspectives of affected communities and aligning action across policy, markets, and practice, the Forum aims to strengthen more accountable, inclusive, and rights-respecting economic systems across Asia-Pacific.
