As UNIDO celebrates 60 years of advancing inclusive and sustainable industrial development, the UNIDO Global Alliance on AI for Industry and Manufacturing (AIM Global)  invites you to join the AIM Global Action Forum 2026, UNIDO's flagship global event on AI and industrial transformation.

Artificial intelligence is reshaping industries faster than any technological transformation in history. While AI has the potential to significantly increase productivity, strengthen supply chains, accelerate innovation, and unlock new economic opportunities, its benefits risk being unevenly distributed. Early adopters of AI - both countries and companies - stand to capture disproportionate benefits, while those lacking infrastructure, talent pipelines, or capital risk being left further behind.

At a time when the international community is advancing global AI governance and digital cooperation agendas, the Forum will explore how global commitments can move from dialogue to implementation, supporting inclusive industrial transformation and sustainable development.

Guiding Question: How can global AI commitments be translated into practical solutions that strengthen industries in developing and least developed economies, empower people, and deliver sustainable development outcomes for all?

Since its launch, the AIM Global Alliance has united over 500 members across 70 countries and is now entering its next phase, moving from alliance-building to implementation. The Forum will showcase practical AI solutions and support countries in deploying AI to strengthen industrial competitiveness, climate resilience, sustainable production, workforce skills, and inclusive economic growth.

Bringing together Member States, industry leaders, startups, investors, academia, and development partners, the Forum will serve as a platform for high-level dialogue, technical exchange, partnership-building, and investment mobilization to help translate AI ambitions into practical industrial outcomes.
