High-Level Plenary Meeting of the General Assembly to Commemorate the Thirtieth Anniversary of the World Programme of Action for Youth

Welcome to the registration for Representatives from Specially Accredited Organizations to the one-day the one-day high-level plenary meeting to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the World Programme of Action on Youth. The High Level meeting is to be convened by the President of the General Assembly and shall be held at United Nations Headquarters in New York on 25 September 2025 during the general debate of the Assembly at its eightieth session, from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., and shall consist of an opening segment, a plenary segment for general discussion, two intergenerational multi-stakeholder panels and a brief closing segment;
The overall theme of the high-level meeting will be “World Programme of Action for Youth at 30: accelerating global progress through intergenerational collaboration.”
As guided by resolution A/RES/79/289 other relevant non-governmental organizations, including civil society organizations, academic institutions, and the private sector, whose work is relevant to the High-Level Meeting, are invited to participate.
Two intergenerational multi-stakeholder panel discussions will be held in parallel to the plenary segment:
Panel 1: Advancing implementation of the World Programme of Action for Youth to leave no one behind;
Panel 2: Full, effective and meaningful youth participation, at national and international levels, for the benefit of current and future generations;

Each Organization will be able to register up to two (2) representatives. If more than two are registered under one organization, the Secretariat will approve registrations on a first-come first-serve basis, with reference to the letter of representation provided by the Organization.

Participants must register individually via the relevant INDICO form. Bulk registrations are not permitted by the system.

Submitting a registration doesn't guarantee your in-person participation. You will receive an approval letter confirming your in-person participation if your registration is approved.
The deadline to register is 15 August 2025.
